Sopel Foundation & Word Blindness featured in the New York Post!

“ Stanley Cup champ Brent Sopel opens up about his struggle with dyslexia and how his foundation is helping others: ‘You’re not alone’ “ - and with this, starts our journey being featured on the New York Post last week.

Our own Brent Sopel, together with Juliet Hahn, had the honour to be interviewed by the New York Post. July 18th marks the day when our foundation gets more visible - but for us, it is not a 15 minute of fame moment of pride, but yet another step forward towards helping dyslexic children get a voice in their own society.


“I lived on that rink just because that was the only place I was good,” Sopel told The Post. “Anytime I could get on that ice, that’s where I got my confidence, my self-esteem from.”
